+What age group are Starlight Disco parties suitable for?

Our children's birthday parties are suitable for ages 4-14 years.

+What do the parties consist of?

We are a specialist kids disco company. The children's party / birthday party would consist of pop music, lots of party games, dance competitions and plenty of fun, all combined with cool flashing disco lights. Your disc will be lead by Graham who is always assisted by a second member of the team.

+Do you do magic, puppets, balloon modeling etc?

No! We provide only mobile children's disco and party game entertainment. We believe that we provide this exclusive service in East Sussex because this what the kids want.

+How long do the disco parties last?

The perfect length for a kids disco party is 2 hours. We do longer parties for 12-14 year olds (usually 3 hours) but the time is entirely up to you.

+Does the disco include lights?

Of course! All our children's party packages include cool LED lighting. We also supply bubble machines at all parties and a smoke machine if the venue allows.

+What areas do you cover?

We cover all areas of East Sussex & West Kent from Rye to Hastings, Bexhill, Eastbourne, Seaford, Brighton and inland to Tunbridge Wells and East Grinstead.

+What is the disco party format?

For a 2 hour birthday party our Kids DJ usually play music and games for the first hour. We would then pause for the food break which usually lasts about 15 minutes. This gives the kids a much needed energy boost and a chance to recharge their batteries before carrying on with more music and fun through to the end.

+Who will lead the Party?

The Party will be lead by Graham who has been leading children's Parties and Discos for over 20 years.

+What games do you play?

We play a selection of old classics and brand new games created by us. Younger children often prefer lots of games and older kids usually like more music and dancing with just a few games.

+Is the Party DJ insured and Police Checked?

Yes. we hold full Public Liability Insurance. The equipment is PAT safety tested and the DJ has Enhanced Disclosure, checked by the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).

+How much does a children's disco party cost?

The cost of the kids party will vary depending on the length of your party and any special requirements. Please contact us for a quote.

+How do we book and pay for a party?

Once the party details have been confirmed (date, venue and times) we will then confirm everything in writing. We do not ask for a deposit but request full payment when the DJ arrives

+What venues can we use?

Our mobile kids discos can be set up in any type of venue. All kinds of venues can be used for children's parties: social clubs, church halls, schools and even at home in the lounge or garden!

+Will the Disco Entertainer turn up?

Yes of course! We would never let anyone down. In the event of the DJ being ill on the day of the party we will send a replacement, at no extra cost.

+How long does it take the DJ to set up?

The party DJ will arrive at the disco 30 minutes before the start. It takes about 20 minutes to access the room and set up the equipment. Slightly more time maybe required if the party room is upstairs. After the party ends, the DJ will normally be packed away and vacating the venue within 15 minutes.

+Do you do joint disco parties?

Yes, this is a great idea. Twice the guests and half the cost for yourself!

+What days and times can we have the kids party?

Dates and times are to suit your requirements. We operate 7 days a week, 360 days a year. Our children's parties can be arranged for anytime of the day or evening.

+What happens if I have to cancel the party?

No problem! Cancellation should be by written notice.

+Do you do school discos?

Yes, of course! We regularly cover all discos for local schools and will provide complete discos for regular bookings.
